Dolores Dooling Odolecki, 89, of Edison died on Thursday January 28, 2021 at Brighton Gardens, Edison. Born in South Amboy she moved to Edison in 2013. Before retiring in 1996 she was employed by NL Industries, Sayreville. A former member of St. Bernadette R.C. Church, Parlin she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, the Senior Citizens and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of CentraState Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary and Ministry.
Daughter of the late Edward J., Sr. and Catherine Pohl Dooling she is also predeceased by her husband Carl A. Odolecki in 1991; her brothers Richard Dooling in 1989 and Edward J. Dooling, Jr. in 2015 and her sister Ann Marie Booker in 2009. She is survived by her sons Mark Odolecki of Pennsylvania and Gary Odolecki and his husband Russell Barnhardt of South Orange; her daughter Mary Odolecki of Edison; her granddaughter Nicole Boyce-Navarro and her husband David of Freehold and her great-grandsons Brighton, Bradley and Kyle.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday February 3, 2021 at 11am at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy followed by interment in Christ Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer’s New Jersey.
