Dorothy J. Garruto Dill

Dorothy Julia Garruto Dill, 83, of Manchester died on Wednesday January 22, 2025 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Newark she was a longtime resident of South Amboy until moving to Manchester in 2013. She was previously employed by Green & Things and the Rag Shop.

Daughter of the late Francis and Mary Padavano Garruto she is also predeceased by her husband LeRoy C. Dill in 1995. She is survived by her sons Edward A. Dill and his wife Christine, Frank A. Dill and Alfred J. Dill and his wife Tiyana; her daughter Debbie Lee Dorrick; her brother Alfred Garruto; her sisters Anna Marie Schwartzer and Marion Marfan; her grandchildren Theresa Dill, Kiera Hedglin and her husband Michael and Raven, Darien, Jesse, Zaira, Sophie, Brandon and Alva and her great-grandchildren Anabell, Madelyn and Wesley.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 28, 2025 at 10am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy. Visitation will be on Monday from 3 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
