Dorothy Mruczak Magyarits Obituary

Dorothy Mruczak Magyarits, 82, of Parlin died on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Perth Amboy she was employed by the Home News Tribune, East Brunswick before retiring. A member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption, Perth Amboy she was a member of the South Amboy Elks Lodge 784. She was a hard worker and loved her family.

Daughter of the late Wasyl and Ahaphia Narebny Mruczak she is also predeceased by her husbands Gerald V. Magee, Sr. and Emery Magyarits; her son Kyle Charles Magee and her siblings Steve, Anna, Olga, Kathryn, Walter and Mary. She is survived by her children Darren Magee and his wife Sharon of South Amboy, Lisa Magee of Parlin and Jeffry Magyarits of Titusville, Florida; her grandchildren Kyle Esposito and Elizabeth and Emily Magyarits all of Parlin, Thomas Ruszczyk of Cranford, Scott Ruszczyk of Harleysville, Pennsylvania and Jennifer Ruszczyk of Lansdale, Pennsylvania and many nieces and nephews.

A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday December 11, 2020 at 11am at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption, 684 Alta Vista Place, Perth Amboy, NJ followed by interment in the church cemetery in Hopelawn. Arrangements are under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
