Edwin A. “Bud” Corvino, 84, of Point Pleasant died on Monday January 30, 2023 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in South Amboy he lived in Connecticut for 10 years before moving to Point Pleasant in 1991. A member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy he was the owner of Corvino Hairstyling until retiring.
Son of the late Joseph F. and Margaret A. Nicorvo Corvino he is also predeceased by his wife of 60 years Agnes Jarusiewicz Corvino in 2020 and his brother Joseph A. Corvino in 2004. He is survived by 9 nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday February 3, 2023 at 11am at St. Mary’s Church, 256 Augusta Street, South Amboy followed by interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
