Eileen L. Madeline Martens

Eileen L. “Sis” Madeline Martens, 81, of South Amboy died on Saturday October 23, 2021 at home. Born in South Amboy she lived there all her life. Before retiring she was employed by Consumers & Singer Distributing. She was a member of the Luke A. Lovely American Legion Post 62 Ladies Auxiliary.

Daughter of the late Samuel and Eileen Maher Madeline she is also predeceased by her brother Joseph Madeline. She is survived by her daughters Lisa Payne and her husband Richard, Sharon Martens and Eileen Marcinczyk and her husband Michael; her brother and sister-in-law Bill and Christine Madeline; her sister-in-law Marcella Madeline; her grandchildren Aaron and his fiancée Melissa Fusoni, Ryan and Andrea Payne and Samantha and Michael Marcinczyk and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 256 Augusta Street, South Amboy on Saturday October 30, 2021 at 11am. Cremation was private under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the South Amboy First Aid Squad, PO Box 328, South Amboy.
