Frances R. Cancro Cosentino, 87, of South Amboy died on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Brighton Gardens of Middletown. Born in New York City she was employed by Parkway Fabricators, South Amboy before retiring. A member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy she was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Food Pantry, and was a Caring Listener in the parish school.
Daughter of the late Vincenzo and Francesca Medici Cancro, she is also predeceased by her husband Thomas Cosentino in 2001 and her son James R. Cosentino in 2017. She is survived by her son, Thomas J. Cosentino and his wife Teri; her daughter, Joanne F. Veschi and her husband John; her daughter-in-law Kathleen Cosentino; her grandchildren Thomas, Ann Marie, Colleen, Erin, Meghan, James, Vincent, Christina, John and Anthony; her great-grandchildren Colin James, Skylar, Fallon, Ella, Connor, Paisley, Emmett and her good friend Gene O’Toole.
Funeral services will be held on Friday October 8, 2021 at 8:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church. Interment will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary’s Food Pantry, 256 Augusta Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879.
