Frances Alice Shapiro McNulty

Frances Alice Shapiro McNulty, 82, of Monroe died on Thursday July 10, 2025 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born and raised in Bayonne she spent most of her life there and moved to Monroe several years ago. Frances was a retired schoolteacher and taught in Jersey City for many years. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Daughter of the late Moe and Helen Biel Shapiro she is survived by her two sons Dr. Michael McNulty and his wife Dr. Judy McNulty and Dr. Andrew McNulty and his wife Seeyi McNulty; her grandchildren Hali and Lia McNulty; her sister Laura Rubin and brother-in-law Elliot Rubin and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 13, 2025 from 9 to 11am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy with a service at 10:30am. Shiva will be held afterwards at 7 Blue Heron Drive, South Amboy and on Monday July 14 at 59 Leeds Lane, Monroe Township at 1pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
