Francis Moran

Francis T. (Milky) Moran, 64, of South Amboy, died on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge.  Francis was a life-long South Amboy resident.  He was that cool kind of guy that worked hard and played hard.  He had many friends who appreciated his loyalty, quick wit, and happy go lucky personality.  He had a very special relationship with his sisters, and many of his nieces and nephews, who hold him in their hearts, and have wonderful memories to cherish.  Everyone loved him, because he loved everyone.

Son of the late William J. Moran and Eileen R. Moran, he is predeceased by his sister, Margaret (Peggy) LaTourette, his nieces MaryEllen Wieczorek and Maureen Prill, and his nephews James Moran and Andrew Moran.  He is survived by his brother William Moran and his wife Elfrede, his brother Richard Moran and his wife Catherine, his sister Eileen Werner and her husband Carl, his sister Mary Raber, his brother James Moran and his wife MaryAnn, his sister Catherine Murphy and her husband Greg, his sister Jacqueline Jones and her husband Sam, and his sister Joann Janik and her husband James.  He is also survived by dozens of nieces and nephews.

He was Milky to many who truly loved him and think of him as their best friend.  Thanks to all of you that helped him along the way, especially Joy and Mike, a great couple that went the extra mile for him these last two years, which were the most challenging time of his life.

Due to Covid, there will be no visitation.  Cremation and burial is private under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.  There will be a Memorial/Life Celebration for Francis on his 65th birthday, Saturday, June 5, 2021.  Please check Francis’ FaceBook page for details to follow.  You can also reach out to his sister, Jackie Jones, so she can text you the time and place for his Memorial as that date gets closer.  Her Cell phone number is 732-861-6607.
