Francis G. Squires

Francis G. Squires, 95, of the Morgan section of Sayreville died on Tuesday February 20, 2024 at home. Born in Bayonne he was previously employed by the Old Bridge Board of Education. An avid walker and reader he enjoyed music and sweets and was a fan of the New York Giants and Yankees.

One of 13 children of the late John and Bridget McDonald Squires he is also predeceased by his wife Jean Marie Hussey Squires; his daughter Ella Squires and his son-in-law Richard Headden. He is survived by his daughter Frances Headden; his son and daughter-in-law Scott and Margarita Squires; his grandchildren Scott, Jr., Francis, Christopher and John Squires and Richard and his wife Rachael and Katelyn Headden and his great-grandchildren Zoey, Kylie, Maisie and Myles.

Cremation was private under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer’s NJ.
