Grace J. Mancini, 63, of South Amboy passed away peacefully on Saturday November 25, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Stary Broniszew, Czestochowa County, Poland, Grace was raised in Jersey City and resided in South Amboy, NJ. Daughter of the late Stanislaw and Zofia Wilk she is also predeceased by her brother Theodore Wilk and her nephew Robert. She is survived by her loving husband Edward Mancini of South Amboy; her daughter and son-in-law Robyn and Frank Wahler of Hazlet; her son and daughter-in-law Gary and Samara Moskal of Brick; her sister and brother-in-law Heddy and Byron Kalpa of Metuchen; her mother-in-law Laverne Mancini of South Amboy; her beloved grandsons Sal, Justin, Mason and Dallas; her great-grandson Grayson; her cousin Anne Tapp of Keyport; several nieces and nephews Jennifer, Russell, Samantha, Russell Jr., David, Heather, Brooke and her newest addition her great, great niece Aurora.
Grace was employed by the Firehouse Eatery and Pub in Rahway, NJ, where she worked for 36 years as a manager. Throughout those years many coworkers and patrons were blessed with the chance to create memories with her that will always live on! Grace loved spending time at the beach with her daughter Robyn and her grandsons Mason and Dallas, it was always their place to be. The beach was a place where they talked, laughed, built many sandcastles and sat for hours soaking in the days of summer together! Grace was passionate about keeping traditions and always made it a point to uphold them; she loved her annual birthday trips to AC with her cousin Anne, getaways with her former sister-in-law Donna, birthday lunch celebrations with her niece Jennifer, and fishing trips with her son Gary and grandsons Sal and Justin were always a must! There was always a Monmouth Park Racetrack Day on Memorial weekend, an annual girl's night out, and a Mother's Day trip to Gasko's, but above all her cherished tradition was having her family together for Christmas eve. It was through those events and so many more that so many were able to create fond memories of her that will stay with them, forever.
