Harry C. Applegate, IV, 56, of Little Egg Harbor died on Wednesday January 24, 2024 at home. Born in Perth Amboy he lived most of his life in the Morgan section of Sayreville before moving to Ocean County. He graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He was a Six Flags Great Adventure enthusiast who co-authored books about the amusement park and developed and maintained the Great Adventure History website. He also enjoyed traveling with his family and friends.
Son of the late Harry C., III and Lillian Lenart Applegate he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Ralph Frontera of Sayreville and his niece Janice Frontera of Holmdel.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 30, 2024 at 12 noon at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by entombment in St. James Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning only from 10am to 12 noon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Make A Wish Foundation.
