Hugh Forrest Brook, 64, of Matawan died on Friday May 16, 2025 at home. He was the owner of Plainfield Beauty Supplies. He enjoyed fishing and playing pool.

Son of the late Maynard and Barbara Goldschein Brook he is survived by his wife Nancy Uminski Brook; his son Maynard Brook; his daughter Alexis Brook and his brother Scott Brook.

Cremation was private. Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday May 20, 2025 from 5 to 8pm at The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals" 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
