Janet F. Gardner Hardy

Janet F. Gardner Hardy, 85, of Spotswood died on Sunday December 13, 2020 at the Venetian Care & Rehabilitation Center, South Amboy. Born in South Amboy she lived in Morgan for 40 years before moving to Spotswood in 2011. Before retiring she was employed by Perth Amboy Hospital as well as Christ Episcopal Church Preschool and the Spotswood Lutheran School. A member of Christ Episcopal Church, South Amboy she enjoyed playing Bingo and bocce ball.

Daughter of the late Elmer and Grace Kidd Gardner she is also predeceased by her husband Russell Sanford Hardy in 2008. She is survived by her son Mark Hardy and his wife Jaclyn of Lanoka Harbor; her daughters Karen Heidt of Tennessee and Elizabeth Kearney and her husband Kevin of Helmetta; her grandchildren Aimee, Jill, John, Samantha, Jonathan, Gage, Skylar, Alabama and Zoey and her great-grandchildren Amadea, Aniyah, Joseph, Caleb and Seth.

Interment in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy was private under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Beginnings Animal Rescue, 777 Helmetta Blvd., East Brunswick NJ 08816.
