Jean Constance Rand Griffiths

Jean Constance Rand Griffiths, 87, of Edison died on Monday April 23, 2018 at home. Born in Montclair she lived in Sayreville for 55 years before moving to Edison in 2014.

Daughter of the late Howard and Ethel Davis Rand she is also predeceased by her husband John Rhys Griffiths in 2012 and her son Thomas Howard Griffiths in 1974. She is survived by her children Beth Ann and Dennis Mottley of Sayreville, BJ Griffiths-Welsh and David Welsh of Edison and Howard and Linda Griffiths of Sayreville; her sisters Doris McPhaul of Dunedin, Florida, Joan Davis and Gladys Bernet of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday May 3, 2018 at 11am at the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen, 270 Woodbridge Avenue, Metuchen, NJ 08840, with a luncheon to immediately follow in the church social center. Arrangements are under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
