Jean Ann LaRocca Ascione, 77, of Matawan died on Sunday June 22, 2025 at Staten Island University Hospital North with her husband by her side. Born in Brooklyn, New York she graduated from Lafayette High School and retired from Bowco Labs, Woodbridge after 25 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville, enjoyed puzzles and games and collecting loads of pocketbooks.
Daughter of the late Vincent and Margaret Sagona LaRocca she is also predeceased by her brother-in-law Joseph Carrieri. She is survived by her husband Ciro Ascione; her daughters Lori Klimek and her husband Tim and Dina Ford and her husband Christopher; her sister Carmen Carrieri and her grandchildren Mia Marie and Nicholas Ford and Daniel Klimek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday June 27, 2025 at 10am at Our Lady of Victories Church, 42 Main Street, Sayreville followed by entombment in St. Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum, Colonia. Arrangements are under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
