Jeanne A. Carroll

Jeanne A. Carroll, 68, of South Amboy died on Thursday November 14, 2024 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in South Amboy she was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy. Jeanne worked for many years as a hair stylist. After retiring, she worked as a volunteer at the Venetian Care & Rehabilitation Center in South Amboy and St. Mary’s Food Pantry. Jeanne enjoyed the beach, especially Ocean Beach in Lavallette in the summer, walking on the waterfront in South Amboy and hearing about her niece, Carly’s, adventures. She will be missed but not forgotten.

Daughter of the late John M. “Mike” and Joan T. Nordling Carroll she is survived by her brother John V. Carroll; her sister Nora J. Heyer and her husband Kevin; her niece Susan Coble and her husband Gary and her great-niece Carly Coble.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday November 21, 2024 at 10:30am at St. Mary’s Church, 256 Augusta Street, South Amboy. Cremation was private under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
