Jeffrey P. Gasiewski

Jeffrey P. Gasiewski, 59, of South Amboy died on Sunday September 13, 2020 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Perth Amboy he was a U.S. Navy veteran and was employed as a fleet manager for the Middlesex County Area Transit (MCAT) for 35 years. He was a graduate of H.G. Hoffman High School, South Amboy. A member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, South Amboy he enjoyed coaching baseball, basketball and football, going to the gym and spending time with family at the beach. He was a member of Frog Hollow Swim & Tennis Club and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City.

Son of the late Anne Ruchock Gasiewski he is also predeceased by his brothers Gary and Gregory Gasiewski. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Christine Gurovich Gasiewski; his sons Kyle and Brandon Gasiewski; his father Chester Gasiewski; several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday September 18, 2020 at 7:30pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family and mailed to the funeral home.
