Joanne M. Grant Billie

Joanne M. Grant Billie, 78, of Sayreville died on Wednesday April 2, 2025 at home. Born in Orange she grew up in Verona before settling in Sayreville. Before retiring she was employed as a cafeteria worker for Sayreville Middle School for over 20 years. She was a kind and caring person who loved being with her family and friends.

Daughter of the late Vincent and Vera Grant she is also predeceased by her husband of 44 years John Billie in 2017 and her brother Vincent Grant. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Janice and Dominic Provenza; her son Steven Billie; her siblings Pat Garrison and her husband Buck, Laura Grant, Mary Murphy and her husband Glenn, Karen and Susan Grant and Bill Grant and his husband Patrick Lacey; her grandson Ryan Provenza; her granddaughter Emma Provenza; her granddog Henry; 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 great-nephews and 1 great-niece.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 8, 2025 at 10am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Visitation will be on Monday from 3 to 6pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sayreville Association for Brain Injured Children.
