Joanne Josephine Milazzo Brigandi, 71, of Parlin died on Wednesday August 23, 2023 at home. Born in Brooklyn she was a member of St. Bernadette’s R.C. Church, Parlin. She was also a regent of the Catholic Daughters of America Queenship of Mary Court and the Columbiettes.
Daughter of the late Jack and Nicolina Milazzo she is survived by her husband Charles John Brigandi, Jr.; her children Joy L. Edler and her husband Francis, JeanMarie Iseman and her husband William; Jaclyn Brigandi and Charles J. Brigandi, III and his wife Kathleen; her brothers Angelo Milazzo and his wife Fran and Nicholas Milazzo and his wife Maria; her grandchildren Isabella and Gianna Edler, Corinne Dickerson, Mikayla Roberts, Antonio, Juliana and GianCarlo Brigandi, Athena and Xander Iseman and Christopher Brigandi and her nieces and nephews Marissa Loesch and Lauraine, Michael Angelo and Matthew Milazzo, Nicole Gregory and Alyssa Mongiove.
Funeral services will be held on Monday August 28, 2023 at 8:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette’s Church. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 to 4pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
