John Stephen Diczhazi was born on August 10, 1949 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He passed away peacefully at home in Nokomis, Florida on March 1, 2026.
John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Estelle, his loving daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Jimmy Jr, his younger daughter Stephanie, six grandchildren, Jimmy III, Kiersten, Dustin, Paige, Daren, and Carmyn, and 6 great grandchildren, Peyton, Eddie, Eeli, Emery, Kayden and Karalyn.
John was a unique person who was not afraid to "say it like it is" though this did not always make him popular with others. His life motto was " I did it my way".
John had a career as an expert builder/carpenter, and, when he could, he loved to go fishing on his boat.
John was always helping others whenever asked. Unfortunately when it came to help him, these others "were not at home".
His wife loved him dearly for 34 years and always will!
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 14, 2026 at 11:30am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River. Visitation will be on Saturday morning only from 9 to 11:30am.
