John F. Murrell

John F. Murrell, 85, of Laurence Harbor died on Friday December 25, 2020 at home. Born in Leland, North Carolina he was previously employed by Allied Trucking.

Son of the late Jesse and Ruth Roland Murrell he is also predeceased by his wife Rosemarie Sharick Murrell; his son Bruce Michael Murrell in 2006; his siblings Jesse Murrell, Mary Meeks, Elmer Murrell and Irvin Murrell and his granddaughter Laura. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Donna and Robert Daly; his son John Murrell and his girlfriend Lori; his sister Ethel Adams; his brother Carl Murrell; his grandchildren Brenda, Robert, Bruce, Brian, Cyrus, Chris and Paige; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 30, 2020 at 3:30pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2 to 4pm.
