Joseph E. Cesare, Jr.

Joseph E. Cesare, Jr., 70, of Conway, South Carolina died on Tuesday August 8, 2023 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Newark he was employed by PathMark throughout Middlesex County before retiring. An avid golfer and fan of the New York Yankees he was a family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His true passion was making sure he had a perfectly manicured lawn.

Son of the late Joseph E. and Maurine Nelson Cesare he is also predeceased by his niece Kayleigh Galante. He is survived by his loving wife Elaine Jagodzinski Cesare; his children Michael Cesare and Leslie; Jennifer Cesare and Scott Farina; Daniel Cesare and Anyuly and Kristen Murphy and James; his brothers Robert and his wife Olga, Thomas and David; his sisters Patricia and Lori Marconi and her husband Sal; his grandchildren Jodi, Dylan, Lily, Noah and Ethan, with another on the way; his faithful companion Buddy, and many nieces, nephews and loved ones especially his sister in law, Dolores Montemurro, we are forever grateful for the care and compassion provided at a time it was so badly needed.

Visitation will be on Saturday August 12, 2023 from 12 noon to 4pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
