Joseph John Creed

Joseph John Creed, 86, of Whitehall, Pennsylvania died on Saturday July 15, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospice, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Born and raised in South Amboy he graduated from St. Mary’s High School and attended Belmont Abbey College. He was a member of the Chemical Workers Union and the DuPont 10 and 25 year clubs. An Exempt Fireman and former member of Independence Engine & Hose Company he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 426, South Amboy.

Son of the late Jay and Helen Yanas Creed he is also predeceased by his siblings Ray, Jim, Doris, Bill, Maryellen, John, Bob and Gene. He is survived by his loving wife Joan Baranowski Creed; his son Joe; his daughters Peggy Stansfield and her husband John and Kathy Garcia and her husband Robert and his grandchildren Jake and Noah Stansfield and Andie and Max Garcia.

Cremation and entombment in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum were private under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
