Obituary

Joseph D. Tamborra, 79, of South Amboy passed away peacefully on Monday March 27, 2023 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Newark he was employed by J.P. Morgan in New York City for 32 years before retiring in 1995. An avid bowler, he was a huge fan of the New York Yankees and loved his fur grandbabies.

Son of the late Joseph and Helen D’Auria Tamborra he is survived by his wife Patricia Seymour Tamborra; his sons and daughters-in-law Joseph and Lisa Tamborra and Eric and Kim Tamborra and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 1, 2023 at 10am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Associated Humane Society of Tinton Falls, 2960 Shafto Road, Tinton Falls, NJ 07753, ahscares.org.
