Joyce Kashubeck Potter, 95, of Parlin died on Wednesday July 24, 2024 at home. Born in Staten Island she moved to Parlin in 1954. She was a former member of St. Bernadette’s R.C. Church, Parlin.
Daughter of the late Francis and Helen Keane Kashubeck she is also predeceased by her husband Alfred Potter in 2007 and her sister Marie Kruse. She is survived by her sons Alfred J. Potter, John T. Potter and his wife Karen and William E. Potter and his wife Marietta; her grandchildren Christopher Potter and his fiancée Lily, Caitlin Potter and her husband Diego Martinez, Eric Potter and his wife Elizabeth, and Jillian, Allison, Steven and Brian Potter and her great-grandchildren Benjamin John, Daniel Mark, Alyssa and Luca.
Funeral services will be held on Monday July 29, 2024 at 6:30pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. A funeral procession will depart on Tuesday at 10am for an 11:30am graveside service at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. Visitation will be on Monday from 3 to 6:30pm and Tuesday from 9 to 9:30am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
