Judith M. Somers Urciuoli

Judith M. Somers Urciuoli, 83, of South Amboy died on Sunday June 4, 2023 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Staten Island she lived there all her life until moving to South Amboy 10 years ago. Before retiring she was employed at Mount Manresa, Staten Island. She loved attending her children and grandchildren’s sport and dance activities.

Daughter of the late Richard and Stella Odessa Somers she is also predeceased by her husband Vincent Urciuoli. She is survived by her children Kim, Thomas, Vincent, Judith Safatle and her husband Albert, and Lori; her sister Jean Corio; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday June 9, 2023 at 9:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8pm.
