Kathleen J. Gregory Rappleyea

Kathleen J. Gregory Rappleyea, 91, of South Amboy died on Saturday October 9, 2021 at home. Born in South Amboy she was a lifelong resident. Before retiring in 2003 she was employed by Nation Lead Industries, Sayreville and Elementis, Hightstown. She was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy, Sayreville VFW Ladies Auxiliary 4699, American Legion Post 62 Ladies Auxiliary, Sayreville AARP and St. Mary’s Senior Citizens.

Daughter of the late Frank J. and Madge Houlihan Gregory she is also predeceased by her husband Warren H. Rappleyea in 1979. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Warren and Mary Jean Rappleyea, and her grandchildren, Megan, Tara, Brian and Sean.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 14, 2021 at 9:15am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church. Interment will be in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the South Amboy First Aid Squad, PO Box 328, South Amboy, NJ 08879.
