Keith S. Marek, Sr.

Keith S. Marek, Sr., 75, of South Amboy died on Thursday August 7, 2025 at home. Born in Perth Amboy he was a longtime employee of Gerdau Steel, Sayreville. An avid fan of the Las Vegas Raiders and Baltimore Orioles he also enjoyed NASCAR. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and grand-dogs and loved trips to the Outer Banks.

Son of the late Joseph and Marguerite Meade Marek he is also predeceased by his siblings Paul and Johnny Marek and Carol Pillz. He is survived by his wife Doreen Delellis Marek; his children Keith Marek, Jr. and his wife Tonya, Glenn Marek and his husband Robert, Shannon Marek and her boyfriend Justin Korn and Dallas Manzoli; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Ottina; his siblings Susan Borkowski, Eileen Pahlck and Carl Marek; his grandchildren Keith, III, Caitlyn, Morgan and Angelina; his puppy Jax; his grand-dogs Penelope, Frankie, Murphy and Spike and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday August 11, 2025 at 5:30pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Monday from 3 to 6pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
