**The Memorial Mass of Christian Burial has been moved to Tuesday at 11am**

Kelly Ann Walsh Hayes, 53, of South Amboy died on Wednesday January 14, 2026 at home. Born in Edison she lived in Iselin before moving to South Amboy over 25 years ago. She was previously employed by JFK Medical Center, Edison. A member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy she previously served as a Eucharistic Minister and taught Religious Education for many years. She also served on Iselin Emergency Services and First Aid.

Daughter of the late Edward Joseph Walsh she is also predeceased by her husband Robert J. Hayes; her daughter Katelyn and her aunt Kathie Jackson. She is survived by her daughter Amanda Rose Hayes; her son Christopher Hayes; her mother Marian Rust Walsh; her sister Laurie Alberty; her uncle Don Rust; her nieces Brianna and Francesca Alberty and several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday January 20, 2026 from 3 to 6pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday January 27 at 11am at St. Mary’s Church, 256 Augusta Street, South Amboy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made towards her children’s education.
