Kim Kleinow

Kim “Kimmy” Kleinow, 65, of South Amboy died on Friday July 15, 2023 at Jersey Shore Post-Acute Rehabilitation, Neptune. Born in Jersey City she was a loving, long-time resident and nurse of South Amboy. She spent her life taking care of everyone and anyone she could. She loved reading, the beach, and her family (including the dogs). She adopted every friend of the family and was a devout Catholic who dedicated her time teaching CCD and attending Mass, even on television. She was an avid fan of the New York Giants and any team that her nephews or nieces played on. She was always quick with a witty remark and a middle finger to follow. She was a one of a kind and will be dearly missed.

Daughter of the late Herman and Joan Corrado Kleinow she is survived by her siblings Tracey Kleinow, Michael Kleinow and Ellen Balseiro and her husband Michael; her nieces and nephews Jennifer Kleinow, John Radich, Troy Radich and his fiancée Meghan Luzetsky, Aaron Radich and his fiancée Giovanna Ortega, Justin Kleinow and his wife Lianne, Molly and Mike Balseiro and Gregory Kleinow; her great-nieces and great-nephews Meyani, Azariah, Tai, Kendell, Karter and Theodore Kleinow and Layla Radich; her lifelong loving best friends Denise Liberman and Debbie Newbury; all the friends who became family at Jersey Shore Post-Acute Rehab and a host of family and friends that made her life very special.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 19, 2023 at 11:30am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 12 noon Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning only from 10 to 11:30am.
