Lorna Fohs Francis

Lorna Fohs Francis, 79, of Old Bridge died on Wednesday June 24, 2026 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Manhattan she was a member and Religious Education Director at St. Bernadette R.C. Church, Parlin.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Landusky Fohs she is also predeceased by her husband Lester J. Francis in 2018. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Steven and Laurie O’Connell; her daughter Christine O’Connell; her brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Beulah Fohs; her sister Barbara Fohs; her grandchildren Christopher O’Connell, Brianne Leach and Hailey and Amber O’Connell; her niece Daphne Rosario-Farparan and her nephews Corey and Joey Fohs.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 30, 2026 at 8:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette Church. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
