Lorraine Grenke Scharff

Lorraine Grenke Scharff, 93, of Parlin died on Sunday August 19, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Clinton Township she was previously employed by Prudential Insurance Company, Newark. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, South Amboy.

Daughter of the late John and Florence Kuhnle Grenke she is also predeceased by her husband William H. Scharff in 1997; her sister Phyllis Grenke Scharff in 2016 and her grandson Noel Budavari in 2010. She is survived by her daughters Judy Scharff of Old Bridge; Kathleen Budavari and her husband Laszlo of Maricopa, Arizona and Laurie Braun and her husband Paul of Freehold Township; her grandchildren Sommer Budavari of Maricopa, Arizona, Kyle Braun and his wife Lauryn of Revere Beach, Massachusetts and Colton Braun of Freehold Township and her great-granddaughter Lily Ann Budavari of Georgia.

Funeral services will be held on Friday August 24, 2018 at 12 noon at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:30 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey, 23 Main Street, Suite D1, Holmdel, NJ 07733.
