Luis H. Chacon

Luis Humberto Chacon, 65, of the Melrose section of Sayreville died on Monday November 16, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Guatemala he lived in Jersey City before moving to Sayreville. Before retiring he was employed by B & G Foods.

Son of the late Oscar Rigoberto and Blanca Rosa Sosa Chacon he is also predeceased by his wife Laura J. Terebecky Chacon in 2014; his sister Gloria and his mother-in-law Mary Terebecky. He is survived by his children, Dennis, Emily and Derek Chacon; his brother Mario; his sisters Marina and Elfa; his father-in-law Walter Terebecky, Sr. and his brother- and sister-in-law Wally and Bernadette Terebecky.  

Funeral services will be held on Friday November 20, 2020 at 10am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family and mailed to the funeral home.
