Margaret Leusenring Obituary

Margaret M. Leusenring, 94, of South Amboy died on Friday July 30, 2021 at home. Born in South Amboy she lived there all of her life. Before retiring she was employed as a principal for the Menlo Park School, Edison Board of Education. She was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy as well as the St. Mary’s and South Amboy Senior Citizens.

Daughter of the late Charles and Teresa Kilcomins Leusenring she is also predeceased by her sister Elizabeth T. Leusenring in 2015 and her cousin Eugene Kilcomins. She is survived by her cousins Carol Newell, James Handerhan and his wife Virginia and their children Larry Handerhan and Kristen Atwood, Kim Nir and her husband Ishai and their children Justin, Dylan and Devon Nir, Betty Murdock, Robert Murdock and his wife Pamela and their daughter Kristina Ferraro, and Robin Coen and her husband Chris.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 4, 2021 at 10:30am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by entombment in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning only from 9:30 to 10:30am.
