Margaret M. Render Kilcomons

Margaret Render Kilcomons, 95, of Farmington, Connecticut died on Friday April 24, 2026 at Amberwoods of Farmington. 

Born in South Amboy, she lived there until moving with her late husband to Lakewood, NJ in 1999.  In 2017, she moved to Valrico, FL and then to Farmington, CT in 2025.

She attended Sacred Heart Grammar School and St Mary’s High School in South Amboy.  She was a member of St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy, NJ; St Dominic Roman Catholic Church, Brick Township, NJ; and St Stephens Catholic Church, Riverview, FL.

She was employed by Bristol Myers Squibb for over 30 years until her retirement. She was predeceased by her father William Render in 1969 and her mother Marie Trzoniec Render in 1992.  She is also predeceased by her husband Norman F. Kilcomons in 2001. She is survived by her sons Norman Kilcomons and his wife Charlene of Farmington, CT and Michael Kilcomons and his wife Irene of Valrico, FL.; one brother William Render of San Antonio, TX; five grandchildren, Carli of Farmington, CT, Kyle and his wife Jenn of Park City, UT, Michael and his wife Tiffany of Apollo Beach, FL, Keriann and her husband Scott of Aurora, CO and Jenna of Valrico, FL as well as 7 great grandchildren, Gavin, Mackenzie, Sierra, Cody, Emery, Evans and Easton. 

Margaret will be remembered in many ways, but especially for her generous spirit, hearty laugh, beautiful smile,  love of ice cream, and the sweet way she spoiled her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be on Monday May 11, 2026 from 9-10am only at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church 256 Augusta St, South Amboy, NJ.  Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery,  220 Johnson Lane, Parlin, NJ.
