Margaret Rose Varga Palmer, 72, of Parlin died on Thursday March 14, 2024 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Perth Amboy she lived in Woodbridge before settling in Parlin. She was previously employed by Stern’s, Woodbridge Center. A member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy she was a former member of the choirs at St. Anthony of Padua, Port Reading and St. James, Woodbridge.
Daughter of the late John A. and Margaret Gerba Varga she is survived by her husband Richard Palmer of Parlin and her brother-in-law Lawrence Palmer of Woodbridge.
Funeral services will be held on Monday March 18, 2024 at 10:30am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by an 11am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church. Entombment will be in St. James Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Monday morning only from 10 to 10:30am.
