Marianne C. Brown Carroll

Marianne C. Brown Carroll, 63, of South Amboy died on Saturday November 22, 2025 at home. Born in the Bronx, New York she was previously employed as a nursing assistant and was known as the neighborhood babysitter. She loved her family with all her heart.

Daughter of the late Charles James and Cecelia Cashin Brown she is also predeceased by her husband Charles Carroll; her brother Kenny Brown; her sister Karen Brown and her great-grandchildren angel babies Finn and Bentley. She is survived by her children Meghan Ryan and her husband Tim, Eric Carroll and his wife Christine, Peter Carroll and his wife Melissa and Matthew Carroll and his fiancée Oriana Principe; her brother Charlie Brown; her grandchildren Gabriella, Valerie, TJ, Luca and Ava; her turtle Louie and many beloved friends, including her Hillcrest Manor family.

Cremation was private. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday December 3, 2025 from 4 to 6pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
