Marie H. Czapkowski Sutter

Marie Czapkowski Sutter, 79, of Sayreville died on Thursday September 30, 2021 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in New Brunswick she lived in South River before settling in Sayreville.
Daughter of the late Frank and Helen Kizlinski Czapkowski she is also predeceased by her husband Andrew F. Sutter in 2015 and her daughter Dawn M. Sutter. 
Marie was everyone’s “Ma.” Throughout her life, she took pride in her responsibilities of a homemaker, from raising four kids to being a great hospitable host to whoever walked through the door. She loved company and the chance to share a glass of boxed red wine and chat about anything and everything. 
When not cooking one of her many famous recipes like mac salad or shopping at Kohl’s, Marie loved to spend her days sitting in her chair with her two cats Dale and Simba, as she watched Lifetime movies, the Game Show Network, and Notre Dame football - or the birds out front as she did her word searches and scratch offs. 
A woman so pure and full of light, Marie truly did not have a bad bone in her body and will be deeply missed by the family and friends who had the honor of knowing her. The family is taking solace knowing she is now up above, reunited with her daughter Dawn once again. 
She is survived by her sons Keith and Andrew Sutter; her daughter Ann Taylor; her sister Elaine Chamberlin; her grandchildren Kayla, Dale, Dana, Danny, Beau, Mitchel and Matthew and her great-grandchildren Caisen, Roman, Kento, Joseph and Layla; her grand-dog Lizzie, and cats Dale and Simba. 
Cremation was private under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
