Mary Lennon Natale, 82, of Parlin died on Thursday March 3, 2022 at Flagler Hospital, St. Augustine, Florida. Born in Newark she lived in Laurence Harbor before settling in Parlin, NJ. Before retiring over 15 years ago she was a well-accomplished employee of Economic Laboratories, Avenel. She was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy.
Daughter of the late Charles and Theresa Hopkins Lennon she is also predeceased by her husband Joseph M. Natale in 2007; her sons Richard in 1991 and Joseph in 2005; her sister Virginia Krasovec and her brothers Charles and James Lennon. She is survived by her brother Eugene Lennon and her brother-in-law Emro Krasovec. She is also survived by her son David Natale and his wife Christine; her daughter Deborah Trusheim and her husband John; her grandchildren Joseph M. Hoffman and his wife Melanie, Bryan C. Hoffman and his wife Addie, and Christopher Natale and his partner Samantha Bucher; her two great-grandchildren Logan and Maggie Hoffman and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mary always showed up and gave her full effort for her family and as an employee. She instilled in her family the motto “you gotta do, what you gotta do, man.” She found great joy in spending time with her family, dancing, and shopping. She always was ready to give and ensure her family had everything they needed.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 10, 2022 at 8:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church. Entombment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Keyport. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 to 7pm.
