Mary A. Quinlan Brennan Obituary

Mary A. Quinlan Brennan, 84, of South Amboy died on Wednesday September 17, 2025 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. A member of Matawan First Baptist Church, she was previously employed by Oakview Nursing Home and South Amboy Memorial Hospital.


Daughter of the late David E. and Anna Wingler Quinlan she is also predeceased by her husband Donald F. Brennan in 2013; her daughter Susan Cochran in 2024 and her siblings Dennis, George, Charlie, Beverly and David. She is survived by her children and their spouses Brenda and Jack Siwadlo, Robin and Ralph Zara, Sherol and William Pollack and Don and Jennifer Brennan; her son-in-law Bobby Cochran; her brothers-in-law Roger Brennan and his wife Gale and Clyde Brennan; her sisters-in-law Lois and Pat Quinlan; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and many extended families, nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 23, 2025 at 11am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Forest Green Park Cemetery, Morganville. Visitation will be on Monday from 3 to 7pm.
