MaryJane Fleming Friedman

MaryJane Friedman (Fleming), 82, of South Amboy died on Thursday January 6, 2022 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in South Amboy she was a lifelong resident of Madison Park. Before retiring she was employed as a waitress at Labiga. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Wildwood, cooking and family gatherings. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Daughter of the late Thomas and June Beshada Fleming she is also predeceased by her husband Fred Friedman; her sons William Bridgeman and Fred Friedman; her daughter Cynthia Terzino; her grandson John Barrett, IV and her son-in-law John Barrett, III. She is survived by her daughters Melissa Barrett and Meg Meyers; her brother Robert Fleming; her sister Edwina Jones; her grandchildren Kerri, Frank Jr., Shea, Amanda, Freddie, Ryan, Michael, Tiffany and Alec; her great-grandchildren Jeremy, Jared, Hadley, Charlotte, Vivian and Luke; her daughter-in-law Denise Friedman, son-in-law Frank Terzino, and the Fenton Family.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 11, 2022 at 12:30pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet. Visitation will be on Tuesday only from 11:30am- 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The National Kidney Foundation.
