Michael Lagana, 75, of Franklin Township died on Tuesday July 29, 2025 at home. Born in Brooklyn, New York he lived in Edison before moving to Franklin. A member of the NRA, he loved the open road, the American flag, and Satski’s ribs.
Son of the late John Lagana and Louise Perusso he is also predeceased by his siblings Lisa, Thomas and Kenneth Walsh. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Marie and James Holovacko; his siblings Diane Djamoos and her husband Greg, Kathleen Smerko and her husband Robert and Scott Walsh; his grandson Austin Holovacko; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a neighborhood stray cat Ginger who never missed a meal thanks to him.
Michael will be missed but never forgotten. With every roaring motorcycle engine and every flutter of the flag, his spirit lives on.
