Nancy Talbot Manion Obituary

It is with profound sadness and overwhelming grief that the family of Nancy Talbot Manion of the Morgan section of Sayreville announce her passing. Nancy died on Saturday May 15, 2021 with her family at her side, due to complications from pancreatic cancer. She was born on October 31, 1951 in Summit, New Jersey. She was only 69 years old. Nancy was a 1969 graduate of Sayreville War Memorial High School and worked for over 33 years as a secretary to James Bowes, Esq., a local attorney. She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, Giants, and talk radio. Most important of all, Nancy was a loving wife, a devoted mother and a proud grandmother.

Daughter of the late Jack and Harriet Talbot she is also predeceased by her brother-in-law Keith Manion in 2020. Nancy is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert R. Manion; a son Patrick Ian Manion of Dunellen, New Jersey; a daughter Amanda Manion Fuchs and her husband Brian of Alexandria, Virginia and a cherished grandson Jackson Robert Fuchs. Also surviving are a brother John Talbot and his wife Marie of Ripon, Wisconsin; a sister Barbara Wright and her husband Harry of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia; a sister-in-law Toni Manion of South Amboy and a sister-in-law Denise Travers and her husband Peter of Sayreville, along with numerous nieces and nephews in New Jersey, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 19, 2021 at 10am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8pm.
