Phyllis Christensen Jepsen, 91, of Laurence Harbor died on Thursday June 16, 2022 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in South Amboy she loved flowers and animals. She will never be forgotten.
Daughter of the late Helge and Inez Larson Christensen she is also predeceased by her husband of 70 years Richard Jepsen in 2021. She is survived by her sons Gary Jepsen and his wife Beth of Loris, South Carolina and Dennis Jepsen and his wife Cathy of Rochester, New Hampshire; her daughter Lori Stefanski and Rick Salowe of Laurence Harbor; her grandchildren Erin, Shon and Amy Jepsen, Brandon and his fiancée Brenda and Justin Stefanski; 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 29, 2022 at 10am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 7pm.
