Raffaele E. Ponti

Raffaele E. Ponti (Ralph), 90, of South Amboy passed away on Sunday May 19, 2024, at home at Care One in New Jersey. Born in Rome, Italy he established his legacy having owned Ralph Ponti’s Barbershop for decades in North Chili, NY. He was a former active member of St. Christopher’s Church and was frequently seen at Churchville Golf Course.

Son of the late Livio and Fausta Ponti he is also predeceased by his wife Olga Ferraro Ponti in 1985. He is survived by his sons Raffaele L. Ponti and his wife Isabelle and Gene Ponti and his grandchildren Sofia, Gina, Anthony, and Nicholas.

The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” in South Amboy made funeral preparations and service will be at St Vincent de Paul in Churchville, NY then laid to rest next to Olga at Churchville Cemetery. Service will be June 21st at 10:00 am directly followed by burial.
