Ralph S. Abramik, 93, of Edison died on Thursday February 29, 2024 at home. Born in Perth Amboy he lived in the Morgan section of Sayreville before moving to Edison. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War he was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy. Before retiring he was employed as a union carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his wife of 52 years Dolores I. Facendo Abramik in 2008. He is survived by his sons Ralph M. Abramik and Stephen Abramik and his wife Remedios C. Abramik; his grandchildren Sean and Elise Abramik and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 5, 2024 at 9:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 3 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
