Randall “Pigeon” Poliny, 68, of South Amboy died on Friday June 2, 2023 at home. Born in Perth Amboy he lived most of his life in Morgan and South Amboy. He was co-owners with his brother Glenn of Fred’s Bait and Tackle and was a member of Laborers’ Local 472. A golden glove boxer in his younger years, he had a passion for hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles.
Son of the late Andrew and Julia Harczuk Poliny he is also predeceased by his brother Valiant Poliny and his uncle Fred. He is survived by his brother Glenn Poliny; his sister Lynnette Poliny-Ferguson; his brother-in-law James Ferguson and his niece Maclain Winkler and her husband John.
Memorial visitation will be held on Friday June 9, 2023 from 5 to 7pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation was private.
