Raymond J. Farparan

Raymond J. Farparan, 71, of Neptune died on Sunday March 9, 2025 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Newark he was previously employed by Hertz. A veteran of the U.S. Army he was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Giants. He was known for his sense of humor and loved being a mechanic.

Son of the late Raymond and Jovita Tolentino Farparan he is also predeceased by his brothers Vincent and Anthony Farparan. He is survived by his sons Raymond, Jr. and Dale Farparan; his daughter Catherine Fezell and her husband Lance; his brothers Mark, Albert and Matthew; his sisters Teresa Paris and Alicia Farparan; his grandchildren Ezra and Riley Fezell and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation was private under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. A service with military honors will take place on Thursday March 20, 2025 at 10am at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. Those wishing to attend should meet at the front entrance no later than 9:45am. A memorial dinner will take place on Friday March 21 at 4pm at Liberty Firehouse, 1893 NJ 36, Keyport.
