Richard Vargo

Richard Vargo, 78, of Parlin died on Monday October 20, 2025 at home. Born in Orange he was a kind and generous man, loved by many.

Son of the late Alexander S. and Julie Brehme Vargo he is also predeceased by his brother William Vargo in 1982 and his brother-in-law Michael Cislo in 2016. He is survived by his sisters Carol Vargo Teeter and her husband Daniel and Lorraine Cislo; his nieces, Tracy Colacichi, Christine Terpak and Jessica Parsler; his great nieces and nephews, Michael, Ryan, Lauren, Ashley, Bethany and Connor and a great-great niece Sofia.

Cremation was private. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday October 28, 2025 at 5:30pm during visitation from 4 to 6pm at  The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
