Ronald S. Sabine

Ronald “Sonny” Sabine, 74, of Manalapan died on Tuesday November 8, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Perth Amboy he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed bowling, softball, pinochle, horseshoes and trivia, trips to Atlantic City and Monmouth Racetrack and supporting the Polar Plunge. Above all else, he loved spending time with his friends and family.

Son of the late Stephen and Marjorie Fedor Sabine he is survived by his son Ronald A. Sabine; his daughter Valerie Lopomo; his grandchildren Joseph R. Lopomo, Ronald A. Sabine, Jr., Antonio Lopomo and Zachary Sabine and his best friend and companion Christine.

Cremation was private. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday November 16, 2022 from 5 to 7 pm with a memorial service at 6:30 at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
